Tell me something about your approach.
Fostering independence in others is always one of my goals.  That was my focus as the director of a prevocational program for adults who have a chronic mental illness.

Think for yourself!  A concept I emphasize whether people are adults who are new immigrants to the USA, or high school students in a Junior Achievement Career Success Program®

Think for yourself!  Applies to dancers and actors, on and off the stage.

What other experience helped you to hone your skills?
I am a co-author of the catalog, Tools, Equipment & Machinery Adapted for the Vocational Education & Employment of Handicapped People.  This catalog, geared for vocational educators, shows a variety of useful tool adaptations to use in the classroom, worksites or at home.
After my mother passed away in 2007, I formed an informal grief support group, Tea and Kaddish.

Tell me about your formal education.
I wrote my thesis paper, Using Creative Dramatics to Improve Problem-Solving Behavior to fulfill the requirements for my Masters degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
